Experiment #01 Aqua

This is a brief snippet of what Experiment #1 Aqua looked like when installed. Full video available on request.

This work emerged from a truly unique opportunity. Commissioned to create engaging visual content, we were entrusted with the freedom to explore and experiment. With this digital installation, we aimed to provide the viewer with a privileged position - to sit, contemplate, observe. Just as one would call a childhood friend over to study some small detail of nature, we do the same. This artistic creation stands as an open invitation to look and see differently - to be mesmerised by everyday observations.

In creating this work, we allowed our curiosity to act as a guide. By doing so, we were rewarded with magic unfolding in front of us, met with child-like wonder. We followed a loose concept: always using water, often combined with botanicals. We played with temperature, texture and flotation to create fascinating and unexpected insights into a micro-world. The process allowed us to jump and cheer in the studio, follow our intuition, and play with abandon. We hope that the innocent and unbridled enthusiasm we felt during the creation of this work carries through to engage the viewer to contemplate and visually absorb the wonders and discoveries of our artistic experiment.
